That certainly didn't take long. Volkswagen's new 2011 Touareg has already been upgraded by tuner JE Design. The overall tuning package consists of a wide-body kit, aluminum wheels, a lowered suspension, plus the typical power boost. The body kit consists of a new radiator grill, front spoiler, front and back wheel arch kit, rear apron insert, roof spoiler, and rear hatch blend.

Add to that a set of dual exhaust pipes and a set of aluminum wheels that can be finished in several different color choices such as shadow silver, matte black, graphite shiny silver, and matte graphic silver, and you're looking at spending over 10,000 Euros. It's not necessary to make this more painful by converting into dollars. While the exterior work is, simply put, nothing special, the engine has been given a more pleasing upgrade. The 4.2-liter TDI, thanks to a ECU remap, now has 410 hp (up from 340) and 0-62 mph time of 5.4 seconds.

Top speed is now 167 mph (up from 150). An electronic suspension lowering module is also available to help maintain the extra power. All told, the entire upgrade costs a staggering 19,750 Euros. Yes, that's nearly $26,000.
