JE Design Presents VW Touareg II Widebody

Tuning

JE Design, a tuner from Leingarten, Germany, has just released pictures and details of their tuned Volkswagen Touareg. The tuner began by adding a widebody kit (for €5355) consisting of a front spoiler, wheelhouse arch extensions, rear apron insert, roof spoiler, and rear hatch blend. There's also dual exhaust pipes with a choice of either round or trapezium shaped tips for €595.

The exterior upgrades are finished off with a set of 22-inch wheels that can be custom painted. Under the hood, the tuner has optimized the 3.0-liter TFSI engine to produce 440 hp (up from 379 hp). The result is a 0 to 62 mph time of 5.9 seconds (instead of 6.5 seconds). The cost for the engine upgrade is €3999, which also includes a one-year warranty for the engine, turbo, transmission, and the powertrain. JE Design also allows a two-year warranty extension for an additional €199.

A pneumatic electronic suspension lowering module, which, as you can guess, lowers the cars by 35 mm, costs an additional €1428. All together, the entire package, along with a few other add-ons, costs €21,105, a very steep price for what's already an expensive SUV.
