Why not put a 1,000-horsepower engine under the tree?
Gift shopping for a car lover is not an easy task because most people aren't generous (or wealthy) enough to purchase a car for their loved ones. If you need some gift ideas, we've published our Car Enthusiast Holiday Gift Guide for 2019, which included some hilarious items from Dodge including a onesie and ugly sweater sporting the logo of a Challenger Hellcat (albeit modified to look like a reindeer).
But if someone special in your life is a serious Mopar fan, Fiat Chrysler has just released its very own holiday gift guide. FCA says its Mopar gifts catalog fits a range of budgets and includes branded gear, apparel, accessories, performance parts, vehicle protection plans, gift cards, and even entire engines. Using the promo code "FREESHIP75" at checkout, shoppers can get free shipping on orders over $75 during the month of December.
The list of Jeep parts in the Mopar catalog is extensive but some interesting options include lifestyle carriers for bicycles, skis, canoes, surfboards, and luggage ($148-$575) and tube doors ($1,195) as seen above on the Jeep Gladiator pickup truck. If you don't know which exact parts to give as a present, consider a gift card or Mopar Vehicle Protection (MVP). MVP options include road hazard tire/wheel protection (starting at $380) or Maximum Care (starting at $800), which includes factory-backed mechanical protection beyond the factory warranty.
If you know someone with a Ram 2500 or 3500 model, consider gifting them the Trailer Camera Prep Package ($395) and Trailer Camera ($595). With these packages, Ram owners can access an auxiliary camera view on their Uconnect system, which is super helpful for towing a trailer.
Mopar will also sell some smaller items that are more suitable to put under the tree or in a stocking. These include Mopar T-shirts (starting at $13.95), a Hemi neon clock ($64.95), all-weather floor mats ($165), and a Mopar guitar ($309.95). The most expensive item in the catalog is the Hellcrate 6.2-liter supercharged Hemi crate engine ($20,215), which will add 707 horsepower to your latest build. If the Hellcrate is too expensive to give as a gift or simply won't fit under your tree, consider giving a glass ornament of the more powerful Mopar 426 Hellephant engine ($69.95) instead.
