Jeep Brings Back Special Wrangler Beach And High Tide Models

Special Editions / Comments

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Jeep Beach.

Last year we attended a massive event called Jeep Beach, which takes place in Daytona Beach, Florida. The gathering has grown so large, Jeep introduced two special edition Wrangler models in its honor. Those two models, the Wrangler High Tide and Wrangler Jeep Beach, are back for the 2023 model year.

The 2023 Jeep Wrangler High Tide is based on the 2023 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport S trim with the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine producing 285 horsepower. That power is mated to an eight-speed automatic. This package costs $51,540 (not including a $1,795 destination charge), which is a hefty premium over a standard Sport S ($39,090). But the High Tide does come with a lot of additional content.

Most importantly, the High Tide includes the Xtreme Recon Package, a $4,000 add-on that bundles 35-inch BF Goodrich T/A KO2 tires with 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels, a 4.56 rear axle ratio, 1.5-inch suspension lift, uniquely tuned shocks, rear hinge-gate reinforcement and tire relocation kit by Mopar, and flared wheel arches. Other High Tide feature include a body-color hardtop, Sunrider Fliptop, LED lights, rock rails, and hood decals.

500 units of the High Tide will be sold as the limited edition Jeep Beach for $54,040. This model is differentiated by body-color fenders, swing gate plaque, 20th anniversary shifter medallion, and Mopar Katzkin embroidered leather seats.

"Jeep Beach week in Daytona Beach, Florida, is one of the biggest Jeep vehicle events in America, bringing in more than 200,000 Jeep fans and 20,000 Jeep SUVs in 2022 alone," said Jim Morrison, senior vice president and head of Jeep brand. "With the Wrangler High Tide and 20th anniversary Jeep Beach special editions, we get to celebrate our customers' passion for beach-ready vehicles during this weeklong event."

Next year's event takes place from April 22-30, 2023, and both models will likely be on display. Jeep enthusiasts can order the High Tide or Jeep Beach Wrangler in one of six colors: Hydro Blue, High Velocity, Black, Bright White, Punk'n, and Sting Gray.
