The fan-named special edition has been extended to include the Cherokee.
After fans were tasked with naming a new Jeep trim level, ‘Altitude’ was chosen and a collection of models soon adopted its special blacked-out styling. First to go under the knife were the Grand Cherokee, Compass and Patriot, which were soon followed by a Wrangler. Now Jeep is offering the 2014 Cherokee in Altitude trim which, like its siblings, adds black 18-inch alloys and gloss black accents, and comes exclusively in black, silver, white and granite body colors.
Jeep wants an extra $2,000 for the Altitude trim, bumping the starting price to $24,995 (excluding destination). Jeep has also updated the Grand Cherokee Altitude and Wrangler Altitude with similar upgrades and more luxurious interiors, priced from $35,290 and 31,595 respectively.
