Jeep Easter Safari Concepts Include A Custom Wagoneer

Teaser / Comments

Round two of the Easter Safari teasers has revealed some interesting tidbits.

Jeep has dropped another "Trail Marker" on its way to the 57th annual Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah April 1-9 this year. The theme for the upcoming safari combines electrified power, crazy colors, and "powerful platforms for adventure." The brand released the first set of images last week, and they were a little underwhelming for the most part.

Luckily, the company has released a treasure trove of more images this time. Three new photos appear to signal more models we'll see in the coming weeks, and additionally, Jeep released a little more coverage of the images first released last week. Not only are we seeing some flashy colors, but we even spy a Wagoneer that's planning on hitting the trails.

First, let's dive into the new. The most interesting of which is the bright pink Wrangler Unlimited 4xe and angry-looking Wagoneer.

From what we can tell, the bright pink image appears to signal another electrified Jeep, but this one looks to be packing a winch on the front. It's hard to tell, but you can make out the rear wheel on the SUV, and unless our eyes deceive us, does it look closer than usual? Hard to tell, but what if?

As for the Wagoneer, it's exciting to see the Jeep taking the big behemoth off-roading this year. Last year the company took the Grand Cherokee Trailhawk PHEV concept to the Safari which visualized a beefed-up SUV with electrically assisted power.

This teaser for the Wagoneer appears to also be previewing an off-road/Trailhawk-oriented concept, but we can't say if it's going to be a 4xe. We know that the company is planning on making a 4xe variant of the luxurious SUV, but it's not supposed to be introduced until 2024.

It looks to feature some massive nobby tires along with something on the front that may be a winch or just a light. With the size of the vehicle, it would be cool to see some sort of overlanding elements implemented.

The last new image is also a bright green Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon just like last week, but we don't believe it's the same vehicle due to the Jeep Performance Parts logo in the background. Like last week's Wrangler, it appears to be another model highlighting the cool off-road accessories available from the division with this one featuring a front winch, a cool-looking bash bar, and potentially a beefier skid plate as well.

In addition to the extra details we can see from last week's pictures, it's looking like JPP is going to be rolling out a lot of very cool and usable accessories to really make the Wrangler your own. This is most likely a direct retaliation against the plethora of awesome stuff the Bronco has been available with for a couple of years now that has apparently been exceptionally lucrative for dealers.

As for the last green picture from last week, with the little bit more we can see, it really seems like Jeep may be bringing along a very unique-looking 2-door Gladiator concept. The tires look beefy, the doors are non-existent and oddly shaped, and it's exceptionally green. Whatever it is, we're looking forward to catching it and all the others when they're finally unveiled in a few weeks.
