We've always wondered why automakers chose docile animals to name its vehicles after. Why don't automakers name its vehicles after Lions, Bears, or Tigers? Well, it seems like Jeep's tired of non-threating animal vehicles as well, since it just unveiled the Black Bear Limited Edition Wrangler. Jeep could've gone with a cuddly brown bear, but the automaker chose the fierce Black Bear. Actually, Jeep named the latest Wrangler after the renowned Black Bear Jeep trail that crests at Black Bear Pass and then descends into Telluride, Colorado.

The Black Bear Special Edition is available on the Sports S models of the Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited. The model can be had in one of nine vibrant colors, comes with a heritage "Wrangler" hood decal, as well as a topographical "Black Bear Pass" hood decal. To protect the vehicle against the great outdoors, the SUV has off-road rock rails, a satin black grille, a Mineral Gray bumper applique and a standard premium Sunrider soft top or an optional body-color hard top. The special edition also adds 17-inch five-spoke black wheels and sports black tail lamp guards, as well as fuel filler door. On the inside, the special edition features black cloth Sedoso seats, Iron Gray Bezels, standard air conditioning, sport bar grab handles and all-weather mats.
