Jeep Names Special-Edition Wrangler After Ferocious Animal

We’ve always wondered why automakers chose docile animals toname its vehicles after. Why don’tautomakers name its vehicles after Lions, Bears, or Tigers? Well, it seems likeJeep’s tired of non-threating animal vehicles as well, since it just unveiled theBlack Bear Limited Edition Wrangler. Jeep could’ve gone with a cuddly brownbear, but the automaker chose the fierce Black Bear. Actually, Jeep named the latestWrangler after the renowned Black Bear Jeep trail that crests at Black BearPass and then descends into Telluride, Colorado.

The Black Bear Special Edition is available on the SportsS models of the Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited. The model can behad in one of nine vibrant colors, comes with a heritage “Wrangler” hood decal,as well as a topographical “Black Bear Pass” hood decal. To protect the vehicle against the great outdoors, the SUVhas off-road rock rails, a satin black grille, a Mineral Gray bumper appliqueand a standard premium Sunrider soft top or an optional body-color hard top. Thespecial edition also adds 17-inch five-spoke black wheels and sports black taillamp guards, as well as fuel filler door. On the inside, the special editionfeatures black cloth Sedoso seats, Iron Gray Bezels, standard air conditioning,sport bar grab handles and all-weather mats.
