Jeep Weatherproofs The Wrangler With New Jeep Performance Parts From Mopar

Jeep Performance Parts (JPP) and Mopar have revealed two new Wrangler Unlimited accessories designed to keep the interior safe from harsh weather and other outdoor elements. The heavy-duty floor system and vinyl seats will provide serious surface protection and functionality during deep cleans and, of course, in rough environmental instances.

"Our Jeep Performance Parts team at Mopar is consistently designing innovative features for the iconic Jeep Wrangler," said Mark Bosanac, North America senior vice president of Mopar service, parts and customer care. "With our growing portfolio of quality-tested, factory-backed performance parts and accessories, our customers win with new options to upgrade and personalize their vehicles."

We should point out that these new accessories are specifically for the Wrangler Unlimited. At this time, they are not being offered for the two-door model.

The JPP flooring system (order code CKJ) is made from a multi-layer construction that provides thermal protection, sound dampening, and a rugged surface. Integrated floor drains will help remove water following some deep puddle runs or, perhaps, one just forgets to cover the roof during a rainstorm. It will retail for $750, or $995 if you prefer the factory-installed option. The Katzkin vinyl (code CBU) offers up seat surface protection against things like water, mildew, scuffs, tears, fading, and even when your kid spills their Slurpee (or when you spill your morning coffee). They also have an embroidered Wrangler grille and stitching in Light Tungsten.
