Jeep's modern tribute to the original, classic CJs of the 1940s will be introduced this week at the LA Auto Show. Based on a Wrangler Sport, the Willys Wheeler Edition comes with a stack of upgraded hardware, including a Dana 44 rear axle with Trac-Lok limited-slip rear diff and 3.73 gears, BF Goodrich KM Terrain tires wrapped around unique gloss-black 17-inch alloys, rock rails, and a new Jeep Trail Rated Kit made up of a D-Ring, tow strap and gloves all housed in a special Jeep-embossed bag.

Design cues include a classic gloss black grille with black Jeep badge, gloss black bumper appliques, historic satin black "4 Wheel Drive" rear tailgate decal and "Willys" hood decals. The special edition model comes standard with a Sunrider soft top, and tinted windows, while the iconic half doors come as an option. Available in any Jeep Wrangler color, the Willys Wheeler Edition is priced from $25,795 for the two door and $29,595 for the Unlimited four-door.
