Jeep has decided it's US customers should get the chance to own the limited edition Antarctic-inspired Wrangler Polar Edition unveiled in Frankfurt, so the Sahara-based Wrangler Polar will be hitting showrooms next month just in time for winter. Available in two- and four-door body styles, the Polar Edition is distinguished by a new front grille with black accents, powerdome hood, body-colored hard top, 18-inch gloss black alloys, new hard spare-tire cover and unique mountain decals.

If the all-new Hydro Blue doesn't take your fancy, Jeep offers Billet Silver or Bright White. Inside, the cabin is upholstered in black leather with white contrast stitching and high-gloss ceramic white trim, and features heated front seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and an all-new cluster overlay. Power will come from US-spec Jeep's ubiquitous 3.6-liter V6 gasoline engine delivering 285 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque paired to either a six-speed manual or five-speed auto box. Standard toys include a Trac-Lok anti-spin rear differential with available electronic locker, as well as a Dana 30 front axle and Dana 44 rear axle. Pricing has yet to be announced.
