Jet-Powered Peel Trident is a Spectacular But Terrible Idea

Offbeat

You've lived a pretty full life, why not end it now?

We sincerely hope that we don't have to explain why strapping a jet engine to a car as hilariously tiny as the Peel Trident might be dangerous. The car comes with a top speed of 28 mph, and there's only so much faster that it's going to want to go. Fortunately, the jet-powered Trident in the following video hasn't been made too insanely fast, but its 23.3-second quarter mile time at 78.42 mph is still quite a lot faster than the stock version.

It is also absolutely hilarious to watch, so that's a pretty good bonus.
