Jon Olsson Thinks A Supercharged Huracan Is The Ultimate Winter Warrior

Video / 4 Comments

Well, it does still have all-wheel drive...

Earlier in the year Swedish skier and noted gearhead Jon Olsson announced that he was tearing apart a Lamborghini Huracan. The destruction was for a good cause as the baby Lambo was being turned into one of his crazy winter cars. With winter right around the corner Olsson has just unveiled the finished project on his blog. Apparently his thought was to make a wideboy Huracan, but on his blog Olsson wrote that he decided to leave the car's drivability intact, so he only modified the engine.

The engine mod consists of a supercharger which undoubtedly affected drivability somewhat, but we'll let that slide. Stertman Motorsport installed the VF Engineering supercharger, which Olsson says pushes the car beyond 800 horsepower. Other modifications include an Akrapovich exhaust, Eventuri carbon fiber intakes, steel brake discs from Girodiscs and a new suspension setup from K&W. As expected from Olsson the Huracan has a winter camo wrap and a rooftop ski box. The finished product looks much better suited to tackling tough winter terrain than a supercar with a widebody kit on. Olsson legitimately plans on taking his Huracan on ski trips this winter, so be sure to keep an eye on social media as thing thing will surely draw a crowd.

You can check out Olsson's first impressions of his supercharged Huracan and hear how it sounds in his latest vlog.
