The Australian International Motor Show has just become a bit more interesting. JOSS Developments has announced they will be introducing their upcoming JP1 supercar at the event. The supercar is a two-seat sport coupe composed of a honeycomb sub-frame with a carbon fiber body. The powerful mid-mounted aluminum V8 engine produces 500hp with a top speed estimated around 211 mph. The transmission is a six-speed manual gearbox which allows the supercar to go from 0-62mph in less than 3 seconds.
JOSS Developments has truly put a lot into the JP1, having worked very hard with technical suppliers and building investment. They also plan to unveil at the show a new computer-generated image of the JP1. The Aussie-made supercar will carry a price tag of approximately $500,000 AUD (€345,555 or $455,875 USD). The Australian International Motor Show will take place between July 1st and July 10th at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Center.
