When it comes to off-roading, nothing can even come close to beating the Shelby Baja 700. Seriously, Shelby American's latest tuned SVT Raptor is built to dominate dirt roads like no other. The tuning house made substantial modifications to both the engine and suspension to ensure that its latest creation stands apart from the SVT Raptor it modified in 2013. That model kicked out 575 horsepower, which is good, but not 700-plus hp good. All of that power comes thanks to several additions, including a 2.9-liter Whipple supercharger.

Shelby American also added a Borla exhaust, larger throttle bodies and injectors and a more powerful heat exchanger. The power bump is awesome, but the Raptor is designed to go off-road, and as such Shelby has boosted its suspension considerably. Mum is the word when it comes to what the suspension mods are, as Shelby will only reveal that a "competition package" was installed. What isn't a secret are the 18-inch wheels wrapped in BF Goodrich K02 all-terrain tires. As you might have expected, the Shelby Baja 700 is getting a limited release. Only 50 will be made and the starting price is $45,000, which doesn't include the cost of the SVT Raptor itself.
