Ken Block's "Gymkhana 8" was not only insane to watch, but also revealed something special. At the end of the eight-minute drift video, there's a grey-ish car that is referred to as "Ken Block's Ford Focus RS RX." While the details surrounding the vehicle are scarce, we know the modified hatchback is the new World Rallycross Championship racer that Block will pilot in 2016. Just as before, Block and his Hoonigan Racing Division will use its close relation with Ford to create two examples of the Focus RS Rallycross.

More importantly, the Focus RS Rallycross will feature a 2.0-liter EcoBoost that puts out 600 hp and 664 lb-ft of torque. That will give the hatchback the ability to get to 60 mph in less than two seconds. That sounds like an absolute riot. The Focus RS Rallycross cars will make its debut at the FIA World Rallycross event in Portugal, run from April 15 to 17. Those that won't be able to make any of the Rallycross events can look forward to Block drifting around in the vehicle as it will surely be the star in "Gymkhana 9."
