The 2013 New York Auto Show was the venue for Kia to unveil the facelifted 2014 Optima, so what is the Korean carmaker doing at the Nurburgring with an optical camouflaged model? There's little evidence Kia is preparing a high-performance variant of its popular luxury sedan, but the fact it's being kept under wraps (so to speak) coupled with the cabin sporting Recaro seats and a full roll cage, gives us hope something special is on the horizon. And with Frankfurt 2013 just a couple of month's away don't be surprised if Kia turns up with a new beefed-up Optima.
