Korean automaker adds Vanilla Shake Soul and pink and white Picantos to its small car lineup.
Kia has announced the return of the Soul "Shaker" to its lineup of Soul Originals, which includes the "Quantum" and "Inferno" at the top of the Soul range. As the range-topping Soul, the Shaker comes with some cool gadgets including iPod and Bluetooth connectivity, LED daytime running lights, LED rear combination lamps and high-mounted brake lights. The Shaker can be identified by its Vanilla Shake bodywork (Quartz Black metallic is also an option) and comes with 18-inch multi-spoke alloys.
Inside can be found a leather-trimmed steering wheel and gearshift, and a new Houndstooth upholstery design complemented by a beige trim. Other features include an electric sunroof, and an automatically-dimming rear-view mirror with integrated color reversing camera. Two engine choices include a 1.6-liter turbo-diesel unit rated at 126 hp and 192 lb-ft of torque and a 1.6-liter gasoline engine rated at 138 hp and 122 lb-ft of torque. Prices start from £15,295. Meanwhile, Kia has added a Picanto "White" edition to the supermini's three-door lineup and introduced a new "Fuchsia Blush" (read: pink) paint color to the five-door Picanto.
