The Kia Sportage is about as run-of-the-mill a crossover as you're going to find, without much in the way of high-end luxury to boast. Well, in Russia, this South Korean car has taken on a new personality all its own thanks to the crew over at Re-Styling Krasnodar. Located in southwestern Russia near the Black Sea, Krasnodar is a city best known for its steel lattice hyperboloid tower designed by Vladimir Grigorievich Shukhov. That, and this horrendous diamond-wrapped Kia Sportage.

The wrap was supposedly made by crushing the precious stones (though more likely an artificial substitute) into thousands of little pieces and impregnating them into the vinyl. Why the treatment was applied to a Sportage when surely there are more luxurious cars worthy of the bling is beyond us, so we'll just have to chalk this one up to another instance of crossed cultures from Mother Russia.
