The German tuner's upgraded SLS includes a new supercharger, aero kit, matte wrap and a new set of wheels.
Kicherer's new Supercharged GT project is based on the outgoing SLS AMG, and is in fact an upgrade on an SLS package the company first announced in 2010. Finished in stunning matte black, the Supercharger GT styling package for the modern Gullwing supercar includes a carbon-fiber front lip spoiler, rear diffuser and a hand-crafted front grille with large vertical fins inspired by the 1952 300 SL Carrera Panamericana. Kicherer also added carbon fins for the front fenders and fitted a new hood.
The tuner's in-house RS-1 lightweight forged alloys complete the exterior package, with 20-inch wheels at the front and 21-inchers at the rear. Kicherer's supercharger system fits seemlessly to the car's 6.3-liter V8 engine to boost output to 700 horsepower and 619 pound-feet of torque, up from 563 hp and 479 lb-ft. The result is a 0-62 time of 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 186 mph. Complementing the power upgrade is a stainless-steel sports exhaust and coilover suspension with a 30mm lift function. Kicherer also offers carbon-fiber parts for the center console, door sill protectors, back of the seats, door interior and stowage tray.
