Without a doubt, many people won't find this funny. But plenty of others will, and that's what a Texas sign company is banking on. Here's what's up: Hornet Signs has started a bit of local controversy by creating a truck tailgate decal depicting a kidnapped woman who's also been tied up. The image looks so real on an employee's truck that several concerned citizens have even called 911 to report a possible kidnapping.

The sign company owner, Brad Kolb, said that he "wasn't expecting the reactions we got, nor do we condone this by any means. It was more or less something we put out there to see who noticed it." And noticed it was. So is this too crude or just pure business is business?
