These days, it would be nearly impossible to become a partof a carpool if your SUV, crossover or minivan wasn't equipped with numeroussafety features in each of its two or three rows. But back in the day, it wastotally legit for parents to stick their kids in a rear-facing jumpseatinstalled in the family station wagon’s trunk, with or without seat belts. And those days were awesome, asVolvo recalls in this nostalgic V60 advertisement presented at the National FilmFestival for Talented Youth.

The company says that although we've grown up and need to “lookforward,” it’s still cool to recall our backwards childhood.
