Designer A. Deniz Ozbarli has taken it upon himself to build the badass Beetle Volkswagen is too scared to. His Alpera Tulpar imagines a race-focused Bug with a twin-turbo boxer engine good for 500 horsepower. The race-y design looks mid-engined, unless the designer plans on making it powered by electricity. It appears the Alpera Tulpar lives only on digital paper for now, although its bare website claims it will be introduced in May 2015. Do you think it'll be worth the wait?
