Like its CCX sibling, the Koenigsegg CCXR is a mid-engine twin supercharged V8 powered supercar. However, the engine has been heavily modified where it now converts E85 or E100 ethanol fuel as well as standard 98 octane fuel. Supposedly, it's the second fastest production car in the world with a top speed of 259 mph and will go from zero to 62 mph in just 2.8 seconds. On top of that, it can accelerate from 0-190 mph and decelerate from 190 mph to 0 mph in just 27.8 seconds.

Also like the CCX, it has a removable hard top than can be removed and stored under the front hood. It carries a base price of $1.2 million, innovation like this doesn't come cheap. For those who can afford, are buying simply one of the coolest supercars of all time. In fact, company founder Christian von Koenigsegg stated that even his engineers were shocked when they saw the final performance numbers. Talk about going above and beyond expectations.
