Koenigsegg doesn't launch all-new vehicles very often so whenever it does it's cause for celebration. Revealed last March at Geneva and brought to the US for the first time last month for the New York Auto Show, the Koenigsegg Jesko has officially embarked on a world tour initiated by the Swedish supercar builder. All of the stops will be hosted by the ever growing list of Koenigsegg dealerships stationed throughout the world in key markets, including China, North America, Europe, and the UK. Best of all, many of those stops will be happening right here in the US.

Only yesterday, May 11, the Jesko made a stop in Miami, Florida and is currently on its way to Dallas, Texas for events on the 14-15 of this month. From there it heads to Beverly Hills, California and then to Newport Beach. Then it will be heading further north to Vancouver, Canada.

Following that, the Jesko will cross the pond back to Europe for several stops in Germany before its appearance at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in the UK in July. But just in case any Americans missed it during the month of May, you're in luck. Go to Monterey Car Week in California this August 9-17 to see the Jesko in all its glory.

As of this writing, the Jesko has already completed stops in Hong Kong and Switzerland, where time was also made for some exclusive photo shoots. But why does Koenigsegg need to send the Jesko on a global promotional tour when it's already sold out?

Because there will always be future Koenigseggs. Also, some of those build slots were purchased by Koenigsegg dealers and those slots will eventually be up for sale. Limited to only 125 examples priced at $3 million each, the Jesko is powered by a 5.0-liter twin-turbo V8 that makes 1,600 hp when running on E85 fuel. So, if you've got an extra $3 million or so lying around…
