Fresh renderings of the Swedish carmaker’s new hypercar have hit the web.
Following a series of leaked photos at the end of the last year, renderings of Koneigsegg’s upcoming halo car have emerged from China, potentially the biggest market for the upcoming One: 1. The Agera-based supercar is so-named not because each car will be completely unique, as previously thought. It simply refers to the fact it will churn out 1 horsepower per kilogram. Given the Agera R weighs just over 1,400kg and its 5.0-liter twin-turbo V8 is rated at 1,124 hp, weight saving measures coupled with a boost in power is on the agenda.
Carbon fiber appears to feature on the hood, roof, oversized rear wing and Hundra-inspired wheels, so that should help shave a few pounds. The redesigned body, with totally new front and rear ends, will also be aerodynamically optimized, helping the hypercar to reach speeds of up to 274 mph.
