"Look ma! No hands!"
As far as breaking records go, the Koenigsegg One:1 just brought new meaning to the word “obliteration.” It went from 0-300 kmh (187 mph) and back to zero again in a mere 17.95 seconds. That’s over 3 secs quicker than the Agera R’s record breaking time of 21.19 secs set back in 2011. Almost as impressive as the record demolition was the laid back driving approach of test driver Robert Serwanski, who can be seen taking his hands off the wheel a lot, and significantly when hitting speeds of 200 mph. Maniac.
Incidentally, the double century was reached in 14.3 seconds. And there’s more to come from the One:1 too, according to Christian von Koenigsegg. Bear in mind, the record setting hypercar was a development car and 50 kg heavier than stock courtesy of a roll cage.
