Although its paint job reminds us of a tennis shoe, Swedish automaker Koenigsegg has officially announced the full specifications of the Agera R that was revealed earlier this month at the Geneva Motor Show. As previously reported, the Agera R is equipped with a 5.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that produces 940 hp when fueled with standard 95-octane. However, when filled with E85 bio-ethanol blend, power output surges to 1,115 hp.

Power is sent to the rear wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox and will go from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.9 seconds. The body is constructed from carbon-Kevlar and generates 660 lbs of downforce at 155 mph with help from the turbine wheels, which are wrapped in custom-built Michelin Supersport tires. Weight is distributed at 45/55 percent front/rear, with total curb weight coming in at about 3,163 lbs. According to Koenigsegg, the car will also pull a 1.6 g lateral g-force and claim the Pagani Huayra is its main competitor.

Extra equipment will include fitted luggage with special leather and color requests, a rear view camera, heated seats, a ski box roof, winter wheel package, and four-point racing harnesses. Official pricing was not announced.
