LA 2011: The Abarth 500 Officially Unveiled; Sans Romanian Model

Abarth has just officially released their 2012 Fiat 500 at the Los Angeles Auto Show.

By now, you have seen the renderings and even caught a glimpse of the Abarth 500 shape-shift from a gorgeous Romanian model into the black bad-ass you see before you now. We now have the official photos Fiat USA has released from their Facebook page, showing off their new 2012 Abarth 500 in all its glory. The new model emerged from a box bearing the Italian performance brand's name, boasting "A World of Performance Since 1949" on the front and their trademark scorpion logo on the side.

The hatchback looks great in its black with red trim finish. Check out the launch photos from the 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show, where the 2012 Abarth 500 is on display now.
