Reports of a Maserati MC12 successor based on sister company’s LaFerrari emerged last year

has us yearning for more. Maserati’s flagship supercar would borrow a Ferrari chassis, suspension and electrics, but come dressed in a bespoke carbon-fiber body and almost certainly ditch the hybrid powertrain. The 6.3-liter V12 would remain, albeit detuned from 789 hp to secure its supercar stablemate’s superiority.
