Las Vegas has quite the reputation for expense and extravagance. A pair of new projects by Protective Film Solutions and Forgiato Wheels involving the McLaren MP4-12C and Lamborghini Aventador should find themselves right at home during the 2012 SEMA Show. Protective Film Solutions has used what it calls a one-off Velvet Chrome wrap that it is fully customizable for an almost endless number of color options with a rich satin finish that's a departure from the usual matte or metallic films.

The wrap is a chrome-based film that uses real automotive paint. With a special non-scratch "velvet-like" texture, it adds a new dimension to both supercars. Sitting on blacked-out Forgiato Wheels, both the McLaren MP4-12C and Lamborghini Aventador will be on display at the wheel company's booth in the South Hall of the 2012 SEMA Show.
