Lamborghini Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce Is A Raging Bull With More Power And Less Weight

It looks as if it'll charge right into you.

Lamborghini has just revealed its latest supercar creation, the Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce, at this year’s Geneva Motor Show. We were on hand to see the live reveal at the VW Group Night and, in the words of Lamborghini chief Stephan Winkelmann, the Aventador SV is the "purest expression of the Aventador to date." How so? Thanks to lots more carbon fiber inside and out, the Aventador SV has lost 50 kg (110 lbs), and has gained an additinal 50 hp, now rated at a total of 750 hp and 509 lb-ft of torque.

Lamborghini claims the car will make the sprint from 0-62 mph in 2.8 seconds and hit a top speed of 217 mph. Thanks to the weight loss and other engineering tweaks, the Aventador SV achieves a 150 percent improvement in aerodynamic efficiency and generates an extra 170 percent of downforce. The interior features bespoke seats and an updated instrument cluster. Buyers will enjoy Alcantara throughout and will have a choice of up to five colors. The exterior receives standard matte black 20-inch front, 21-inch rear wheels wrapped in Pirelli P Zero Corsa rubber. Carbon ceramic brakes are also standard, as is the large rear wing, which features three driver-adjustable positions. Pricing begins at around 327,000 Euros and sales will begin this summer.
