One of the final Aventador examples is extra special.
As a final send-off, the 2022 Lamborghini Aventador Ultimae Roadster is pretty special.
Only 250 units were built (not counting the ones that sunk on the Felicity Ace), each powered by a 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine producing 769 horsepower. Even a simple grey Ultimae Roadster is a work of art, but one Swiss owner just took delivery of a more unique example.
This particular car features special touches from the Lamborghini Ad Personam customization program. It's designed to match the only Miura Roadster in the world.
The Miura P400 Roadster was built as a one-off show car for the 1968 Brussels Motor Show. Sadly, Lamborghini never chose to put it into production. That gorgeous blue color is called Azzuro Flake, a recreation of the Miura's Lamè Sky Blue Acrilico with an updated glitter element for modern homologation.
Matching the Miura, the rocker cover is finished in a contrasting Grigio Liqueo (grey) color with a Nero Aldebaran black pinstripe. Both the splitter and rear diffuser are unpainted, leaving visible carbon fiber. We particularly love the silver wheels, which pay homage to the Miura and show off the Aventador's excellent spoke pattern.
As with the exterior, the interior features custom elements that match the Miura Roadster. It boasts Bianco Leda (white) leather with Nero Aldebaran (black) around the headrests. The dashboard is finished in reverse colors, with Nero Ade Alcantara as the main hue with Bianco Leda stitching. As a special touch, the dash bears an embroidered Miura badge, paying homage to the logo stitched on the original car.
After being displayed at the Brussels Motor Show, the Miura Roadster was given back to Bertone and was later sold to the International Lead and Zinc Research Organization (ILZRO), who repainted the car in Olive Green with a green interior. It traded hands several times before finally being restored to its original configuration in 2008.
It will now live alongside this matching Aventador Ultimae Roadster.
