Rumors have seemingly been never ending regarding this particularly hot topic, and today is no different. We're all fully aware Lamborghini is currently hard at work developing its Gallardo replacement, possibly to be named Cabrera. Recent spy shots have fully confirmed this. More than likely, but still not a sure thing, is that Lamborghini will reveal a concept at Frankfurt next month that will heavily preview the new supercar. Only thing is, the final production doesn't look like it'll launch until sometime in 2015.

Speaking to Australian publication "Motoring" at the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia Series in Korea, series coordinator Cristiano Inverni stated that "Since in 2015 we're looking to launch the replacement of the Gallardo, then of course this will have also a racing version...So from 2015 onwards we will continue racing under the Lamborghini brand but with a new car." Inverni wouldn't reveal the new car's name, likely because even he doesn't know. Expect to see the track-based Super Trofeo version of the Gallardo replacement to debut in late 2014, probably right around the same time as the road-going version. However, the latter won't be on the road until 2015.
