Lamborghini Gallardo Self-Destructs In Epic Style After Massive Engine Failure

Test drive didn't quite go to plan.

It's never nice to see. Nevertheless, here's the brutal aftermath of a Lamborghini Gallardo that burnt to a crisp in Tampa, Florida, as a result of a failure in the engine compartment. The supercar burst into flames while sat in the parking lot of a local restaurant, which was temporarily evacuated as the Tampa Fire Rescue team did their job putting the fire out.

Local reports suggest the driver of the $150K Gallardo was on a test drive when he spotted flames coming from the rear end. Sensibly he pulled over, which is when he saw the engine compartment on fire. We presume his interest in the car is now as dead as the car itself.
