Gallardo Spyder

It's been a bad week for supercars, as in the past few days we've witnessed the demise of a Ferrari FF, Lamborghini Balboni and Aston Martin One-77. This particular incident involved a special edition Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Spyder Performante, essentially a lighter version of the Gallardo Spyder, but with the same 5.2-liter V10 tuned to manage 570hp with power going to all four wheels. The wrecked exotic met its sorry fate in Houston Texas, after a race with a second Lamborghini went horribly wrong.

Witnesses claim the supercars were travelling at speed, both being piloted by female drivers, when the yellow special edition Lambo suddenly flipped, presumably from hitting something on the street, and landed on its back. A group of pedestrians then managed to push it back on its wheels and put out a fire caused by the accident.
