With worldwide sales of its striking new Huracan supercar hitting 3,000 units in its first ten months, Lamborghini's record-breaking year has also been greatly felt in the American market. The company has already sold 1,000 Huracans in the US, where company COO, Slessandro Farmeschi, says: "We are watching a success story unfold. As the Huracan arrives in-market, consumers are anxiously waiting to experience this vehicle."

Overall, the company expects to reach 3,600 sales worldwide in 2014, crushing last year's 2,121 and every other year this century. The current record year, 2008, saw the sale of 2,406 units. Explaining the company's success, Farmeschi said: "In the Americas we worked together with our dealer partners to outline their launch outreach strategy from a new perspective. How to make their events and communications bold yet welcoming." Clearly this strategy is paying off big time.
