Can a Lamborghini Huracan get any more lavish than this?
A flashy V10-powered Lamborghini Huracan stuck in a traffic jam is bound to attract attention from the public - but this is no ordinary Lamborghini Huracan. That's because the Huracan featured in this video spotted on the streets of London has been covered with 1.3 million Swarovski crystals embedded into the paint to make it stand out from the crowd. While Lamborghini's Ad Personam program offers a comprehensive range of customization options, this project is the work of Vinceri, a UK-based crystal customization company.
There's no word on how much this Huracan's crystallized makeover cost, but it was bound to have been expensive. The custom Lamborghini Huracan Vinceri Edition belongs to London-based Daria Radionova, who, if you couldn't have already guessed, loves Swarovski crystals and presumably has more money than sense.
She has a history of covering cars with crystals, too. Her first car to receive the crystal treatment was a last-generation Mercedes CLS350 which was fitted with around one million sparkling crystals and was later sold on eBay for £154,600 ($210,000). Her next car wasn't quite as outlandish, as her Bentley Continental GT was partially wrapped in velvet crowned with, you guessed it, Swarovski crystals.
Surprisingly, for her latest project she didn't adorn the Huracan's roof or A-pillars with crystals, although fitting 1.3 million of them to the V10-powered supercar already seems a tad excessive. It's an acquired taste for sure, but you have to admire the amount of work that went into this project as you can see in a video posted by Vinceri. While this lavish Lamborghini Huracan is certainly distinctive, we can't help but wonder how you wash a car covered with Swarovski crystals.
