Lamborghini Miura is Pure Car Porn

Tribute

This is the original supercar, the one that started it all.

It was the fastest production road car of its time and was the first mid-engined supercar. In an era when Ferrari ruled both on and off the track, Lamborghini decided to do something radically different: a V12-powered mid-engined exotic strictly for road use. The Lamborghini Miura debuted in 1966 at Geneva and was an immediate hit. A road car with a racing soul, the Gandini-designed Miura is for many still the greatest and most beautiful car of all time. All told, just 764 examples were built before production ceased in 1972.
