It's safe to say we've been spoiled with new supercar reveals lately. Ferrari lifted the wraps off the new SF90 Spider this week and Bugatti recently presented the Bolide as a one-off track concept with 1,820 hp and a 310-mph top speed. Next week, Lamborghini will also unveil a new mystery supercar to the world.

Details are extremely limited. All we have to go on is a teaser image released by Lamborghini showing the car hiding under a sheet with the caption: "Based on a true story - from racetrack to road." Lamborghini also confirmed it will pack a V10 engine, but these are the only officially confirmed details. So what is Lamborghini cooking up here?

The teaser implies we're looking at a road-going version of the Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo race car. Allegedly, the road-going version will be called the Super Trofeo Omologato (STO). We've already seen camouflaged prototypes of the Huracan STO fitted with numerous aerodynamic upgrades including a massive rear wing to keep the car pinned to the ground, a prominent roof scoop inspired by the Huracan Super Trofeo racer, and aggressive rear air intakes.

Beefier racing-inspired brakes will also provide significantly more stopping power. It's going to look absolutely wild, so we can't wait for the covers to come off.

The Huracan STO is expected to utilize a 5.2-liter naturally aspirated V10 producing 630 hp and 442 lb-ft, matching the output of its Huracan Evo sibling. Like the race car, power will be sent to the rear wheels. While the track-focused Huracan isn't expected to have more power than the Evo, it will be around 330 pounds lighter according to reports. Production of the Huracan STO will likely be limited, with sources claiming that only 700 examples will roll off the production line. All will be revealed next week on November 18 at 4pm CEST.
