Just when you thought the Lamborghini Urus couldn’t look any more menacing.
The Lamborghini Urus is one of the most aggressive-looking SUVs on the market, but that hasn't stopped aftermarket tuners from making it look even meaner. This latest effort comes from Vorsteiner, which is showing off a new body kit for the savage SUV.
It won't be ready until early 2020, but the tuner is taking orders for the components right now. Vorsteiner's kit includes a more prominent lower splitter and a vented carbon fiber hood. Elsewhere, the tuner has added some aggressive-looking side sills and new five-spoke wheels with V-shaped ends.
At the back, Vorsteiner has added a larger wing on the roof and carbon trim for the outlets on the rear bumper. There's also a larger rear diffuser surrounding the exhaust pipes. Since this is only a styling upgrade, the powertrain has been left stock. That means there's a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 under the hood that sends 641 hp and 627 lb-ft of torque to all four wheels through an eight-speed automatic gearbox and all-wheel drive system.
This enables the high-performance SUV to sprint from 0- 62 mph in 3.59 seconds and onto a top speed of around 190 mph. A high-performance hybrid version will also be added to the Urus line-up in the future, possibly in 2019. Reports suggest it will use an electrified powertrain from Porsche, which means a 4.0-liter V8 with an electric motor will generate at least 680 hp and 626 lb-ft of torque.
