Aventador Ultimae

Clearly, the pandemic hasn't slowed things down for Lamborghini. Nor have rising gas prices, despite making a car that gets "who cares" miles per gallon. The brand has just inaugurated a new dealership in Geneva, Switzerland which marks its 20th anniversary. The dealership has been considerably expanded and renovated and is certainly a sign of the times for Lambo.

The Lamborghini Urus SUV is still the best-selling Lamborghini vehicle by some margin, despite the best efforts and sonorous V12 noises made by the Aventador. Lambo sold nearly five times as many Urus models as they did Aventadors last year. In fact, 2021 was the best year ever for Lamborghini, with sales up 13%, and an impressive 20% margin. In short, it's easy to see why Lambo would want to put some money into its Geneva showroom. After all, it is one of the wealthiest places in the world.

Apparently, things were looking a bit dated inside the Geneva showroom. The brand says that the whole showroom was "adapted to the new design and corporate identity that distinguishes the brand worldwide." We jokingly thought to ourselves that means there'd be a lot of hexagons inside, but it turns out that's exactly what Lamborghini did. Also inside is the kind of modern furnishings you'd only find in two places: the March 2022 issue of Interior Design and this showroom.

There's also an entire room where you can enjoy Lamborghini's Ad Personam program. For those out of the loop, it's a little like Porsche's Manufaktur program. Basically, if you have the money, Lamborghini will do whatever you want to whatever car you want, and you can spec it all out in person. As long as it's a Lamborghini Aventador or other bull-branded model.

If you want purple wheels and green Alcantara seats, Lamborghini will do it for you. Also included in the showroom is a large reception area, merch shop, and of course, some of the brand's best cars on display.

While the renovation of a dealership is a sign of the current times at Lamborghini, we're also incredibly curious about what the future holds for the brand. It will be interesting to see how Lamborghini chooses to handle hybridization and ever-tightening efficiency regulations. With any luck, you'll be able to build and customize your V12-powered Lambo at the Geneva showroom for many years to come.
