Huracan Evo

We absolutely adore the Lamborghini Huracan Evo, and who can blame us? Its naturally aspirated V10 engine is enough to send shivers down your spine just hearing it start up, before you even put the hammer down or take in its gorgeous styling. Obviously, when you're behind the wheel, you want to be focused on the road at all times.

Sadly, supercars have traditionally been quite bad when it comes to infotainment and convenience, but Lamborghini is fixing that with a new update for the Huracan Evo. Adding Amazon Alexa In-Car Control, the Huracan is now more suited to focused cruising than ever.

Alexa In-Car Control allows you to control a car's navigation, comfort, safety, and entertainment functions, and Lamborghini says it's the first to incorporate comprehensive in-car control via the system. This means that you can adjust functions like the climate control, ambient lighting, seat-heating, multimedia, and more with just your voice.

What makes the Huracan's system truly noteworthy is the fact that Alexa has been integrated within the Lamborghini Dinamica Veicolo Integrata system. This means that you can access the car's driving dynamics using Alexa, thus allowing drivers to easily fiddle with things like torque vectoring, dynamic steering, and traction control.

The addition of Alexa In-Car Control also means that the car can connect with other Alexa-enabled devices, from entry gates to home thermostats and lighting systems. Obviously, all Huracan Evo models produced from now on will gain this functionality, but if you have a Huracan Evo already, the system can be retrofitted free of charge at your nearest Lamborghini dealer.

It's not often that you get something for free with Italian exotics, so this is a nice gesture from Lamborghini. We just hope that the engineers in Sant'Agata haven't forgotten about the Aventador special edition they're working on. After all, added convenience in a Huracan is cool, but V12s are cooler.
