The London-based bespoke coachbuilder has given the iconic British car its attention by upgrading 25 Land Rover Defender 90 hardtop models, each of which have been hand-assembled. Defender specialists Alive Tuning were contracted to make enhancements to the braking system, suspension, cooling, and engine, while the exterior benefits from an understated design. Customers also get the choice of bespoke paint schemes in matte or metallic finishes that come from Prindiville's own palette.

Custom embellishments come in the form of a signature badge, chrome side protection runners, LED front & rear headlamps, and a ribbed undershield. A titanium high performance sports exhaust has also been fitted as have front & rear parking sensors and cameras, which is a world first for Land Rover Defender models. Cobra sports seats with hand-stitched piping and fine leather adorn the cabin, as does a matching leather steering wheel, Alcantara driver and passenger carpets, and a bespoke center console storage unit that is built and tailored according to customer's color selection.

The special edition Defender is fully loaded with in-car entertainment and communication systems including a 5-inch built-in LCD TV interface providing access to wireless internet and 360-degree external vision. A dashboard-mounted numbered aluminum plaque is also fitted in each of the limited edition models. Engine tweaks have improved the performance of the 2.4-liter TDi engine from 120 to 187hp and 339lb-ft of torque. Even with 18-inch five-spoke alloys and chunky tires, the car manages 0-60mph in 10 seconds. Avaialble now, these special Defenders are priced at £52,000.
