Land Rover Discovery Sport Makes Brand More Complicated, But That's OK

Review

It's not like we're talking Porsche levels of complexity, yet.

The following video, brought to us by XCAR, begins with discussing the shifts in Land Rover's product lineup and what they mean. Significant as these might be, it's a relief when the actual review starts up. The Discovery Sport is essentially the replacement for the Freelander, a vehicle that wasn't exactly bad, but which many saw as diluting the brand in the way that nearly everything made by Jeep which isn't a Wrangler is seen to.

The Freelander might not have deserved this reputation, but thankfully its replacement will never have to suffer the same fate.
