Land Rover recently announced the introduction of the US Equestrian Federation Pack. This carefully curated package will be available on Defender, Discovery, Range Rover, and Range Rover Sport. The first teaser images of the all-new Sport arrived earlier this week.

The new US Equestrian Federation Pack will be launched at the upcoming Land Rover Kentucky Three-Day Event presented by MARS Equestrian, running from April 28 to May 1. It will be Land Rover's third time sponsoring this grand event.

It contains everything the modern horse and Land Rover lover needs, including a canvas tote, custom horse cooler, garment bag, picnic basket, Yeti cooler, and wool blanket. The car also receives a few upgrades, including mudflaps, rubber mats, rubber mats in the load space, and a portable rinse system.

The US Equestrian Federation Pack retails for $5,000, and Land Rover will donate $250 of every pack sold to the USEF Community Outreach Opportunity Fund. The fund's mission is to increase access to horses, horse sports, and equine-based learning opportunities to under-served and under-represented communities.

Land Rover says its USEF pack is perfect for the Land Rover enthusiast who loves horses. This is not the first time Land Rover has sold a package aimed at a specific hobby. Dog lovers can order the Pet Pack, introduced a few years ago. The Pet Pack is still available and includes spill-resistant water bowls, access ramps, foldable pet carriers, quilted trunk liners, and a portable rinse system.

This is a practical approach to promoting a product to horse lovers. Maserati took a slightly different approach a few years ago, using a Levante to race a horse.

Automotive manufacturers have become increasingly aware of how important people's pets are, so both Subaru and Chrysler offer pet-friendly accessories. In 2016, Tesla even introduced a feature to keep pets (and kids) from overheating.

"Land Rover's USEF Pack of equestrian-themed accessories is perfect for the Land Rover vehicle owners whose vehicles are an integral part of the hobby they are so passionate about. We are proud to further support the US Equestrian Federation's efforts to achieve broader representation in equestrian sports," said Joe Eberhardt, president and CEO of Jaguar Land Rover North America.

"Land Rover continues to be a dedicated sponsor of US Equestrian and a committed supporter of equestrian sport here in the US and abroad. This co-branded activation is a testament to the expanding relationship between Land Rover and US Equestrian, further elevating the scope and visibility of our longstanding and valued partnership," said Vicki Lowell, chief marketing and content officer, USEF.
