Expect to see a New York Auto Show reveal later this month.
Take one look at it and it’s obvious that the current Land Rover Discovery (called the LR4 in the US) is pretty long in the tooth. The current generation Discovery has been on sale since 2009, and since that time many formidable competitors have come to market. But all of that will change soon as the UK automaker has just announced that it’ll reveal its Discovery Vision Concept at the New York Auto Show later this month.
As you likely have already guessed, this concept will be a very clear preview for the upcoming production version. Few details from Land Rover have been given so far, only that the concept has an "emotive design, unrivalled capability and ultimate versatility, taken to new levels using new customer-focused advanced technologies." We’re expecting more details and an online reveal shortly before New York gets underway in just a couple weeks’ time.
