If you've just purchased a brand-new 2020 Land Rover Defender or any other Land Rover product, the UK automaker has some good news to share. Land Rover just announced the reopening of its Experience Center in the United States. The Land Rover Experience Centers, which are located in several states, allow customers a chance to drive on a variety of off-road terrains.

These centers were closed due to the pandemic, but are now ready to accept clients once again. Land Rover celebrated the reopening by inviting US ski and snowboard cross country athlete and 2018 gold medalist, Jesse Diggins to its center at Equinox Lodge in Manchester, Vermont. The centers now support contactless signup and payment, face masks, gloves, fully sanitized vehicles, and daily temperature checks for staff and guests as preventative measures.

"Visiting the Land Rover Experience driving school and getting behind the wheel of the new Defender was an awesome experience," said Land Rover Ambassador Jessie Diggins. "As an athlete, I also take health and safety very seriously, and the team at the Land Rover Experience did an outstanding job with their Covid-19 procedures and made me feel very comfortable. It was such a fun experience and it certainly expanded my driving abilities."

In addition to the Virginia school, Land Rover reopened its experience centers at the Quail Lodge in Carmel, California, and the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina. Land Rover's expert coaches can no longer ride in the vehicle with you because of social distancing, but they do give you instructions via two-way radio communication, hand signals, and ground marshaling.

"We are thrilled to be able to reopen our Land Rover Experience Centers throughout the US. The wellbeing of our guests and staff is at the center of the extensive health and safety guidelines we have put in place at each location," said Michael Curmi, Director, Brand Experience, Jaguar Land Rover North America. "We are especially excited for guests to experience the Centers' latest addition, the new 2020 Land Rover Defender."

Customers can select a number of packages from the center, ranging from one hour to a full day. Prices start at $275 and include popular packages like Half Day, Full Day, and the Heritage Experiences where you can drive an old school Defender.
