Classic Cars

At 446, South African BMW club claims to have brought together the world’s largest number of Bimmers in one place.

South Africa’s BMW Car Club Gauteng recently held an event in Johannesburg to break the World Record for the largest BMW Parade. The attempt took place during the Cedar Isle Auto BMW Track Day at Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit, and while 446 BMWs were counted on circuit, the record was not recognised by Guinness as official. All variants from Bavaria were present, ranging from E92 Supercharged M3’s, to the South African Special E30’s - the 333i & 325iS, to X5s, X6s, E60’s, F10s, F30s and CSLs.
