Last Bugatti Veyron SS Ever Made Looking For A New Owner

It could fetch up to $2,400,000.

Before the Chiron, there was the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport. What you’re looking at here is the last ever example out of the 30 units that were produced, and it’s going to be auctioned by Bonhams at the Goodwood Festival of Speed Auction on July 13. Finished in a stunning satin black exterior with a red leather cabin, the supercar has driven just 550 miles and has had just one owner since it left the factory in 2012, making it practically brand new. This means the final selling price is going to be astronomical.

Estimates suggest it could fetch between $2,300,000 and $2,400,000. Under the hood is a 8.0-liter V16 engine producing 1,200 horsepower and 1,106 lb-ft of torque. From a standstill, the Veyron SS will sprint to 62 mph in just 2.5 seconds and go on to an electronically limited top speed of 257 mph. Inside, 'The Last Super Sport' has been stitched into the headrests of the seats and printed in the door sills. Back in 2010, the Bugatti Veyron SS was recognized by Guinness World Records as the fastest street-legal production car in the world when Bugatti's test driver Pierre Henri Raphanel set a top speed record of 267.856 mph at Volkswagen's Ehra-Lessien high-speed test track.

The final Bugatti Veyron SS won’t be the only rare hypercar going under the hammer at Goodwood next month. It will be joined by a 2011 Aston Martin One 77 Q-Series, one of just 77 examples ever made, and a 2014 McLaren P1 with only 80 miles on the clock.
