Cadillac fans have reason to celebrate, as the luxury brand's finest performance cars are set to join the popular Forza Horizon 5 video game next week.

The CT4-V Blackwing and CT5-V Blackwing will be introduced to the digital racing paradise, allowing gamers to pilot these spirited sedans across an immersive landscape set in Mexico. Both cars will be introduced in the Series 19 update "Midnight at Horizon" as seasonal rewards, meaning players must work to gain access to America's answer to AMG and BMW M.

Between April 6 and April 12, 2023, gamers will have the chance to earn enough points to redeem the CT5, while the smaller CT4 will be up for grabs between April 20 and April 26. This is the first time Blackwing vehicles have been included in the game, and they will join several other Cadillac models, including the 2016 CTS-V, ATS-V, and the 2013 XTS limousine.

"The timing couldn't be better for the V-Series Blackwings to arrive in Forza Horizon 5. Since going on sale in 2021, both V-Series Blackwings have been in high demand, and it's a thrill to see these iconic sedans come to life in a format that makes them accessible to millions of enthusiasts around the world," explained said Cadillac's Global Vice President Rory Harvey.

Players will have the opportunity to pit the racy Cadillacs against real-world rivals, including the BMW M4 and Audi RS7 Sportback (both of which have been added to the game in recent months) and various other vehicles from Mercedes-AMG, Lexus, BMW, and several other marques.

Playground Games, the team behind Forza Horizon 5, is known to include cars from previous installments. Therefore, we may see the Escalade ESV and '59 Eldorado Biarritz make an appearance shortly.

As a reminder, the CT5-V Blackwing is powered by a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 that produces a whopping 668 hp and 659 lb-ft of torque. 60 mph is dispatched in 3.4 seconds (the six-speed manual needs 3.6 seconds), and with a motivated driver, the big Caddy can push past the 200 mph mark.

The CT4-V Blackwing is more modest but still packs a punch. The smaller performance Caddy relies on a twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter V6 with 472 horses and 445 lb-ft of torque. As with its bigger brother, it can be specified with a 10-speed automatic or six-speed manual; the former hits 60 mph in 3.9 seconds, while the latter requires an additional 0.2 seconds to reach the same speed. The top speed? A blistering 189 mph.

Last year, the automaker introduced a special edition variant of the CT4-V Blackwing, limited to 297 units.

The addition of new Cadillacs isn't the only thing Horizon 5 players can look forward to. Other new cars include the gorgeous Lexus LC Coupe and the 1,914-horsepower Rimac Nevera electric supercar. New body kits from Liberty Walk and StreetFighter LA will also be added for certain vehicles.

The latest Rally Adventure expansion pack will be available shortly, allowing players to live out their Colin McRae fantasies while flying around Mexico's deserts in his iconic Focus WRC rally car. The Ford F-150 Lightning will also appear, but as we understand, these vehicles will be offered as downloadable content.

Forza Horizon 5 is only available on the Xbox One and Series X|S consoles, as well as on Steam and Windows PCs. Those with PlayStations shouldn't feel left out, though, as Gran Turismo 7 is continuously updated to include new and desirable cars.
